Beep Baseball

The non-profit organization Athens Inclusive Recreation and Sports, is seeking members of the Athens and UGA community to participate in its first ever Beep Baseball team. College of Education sports management and policy master's student John Dunne is the marketing consultant for the AIRS organization whose volunteers are mostly comprised of UGA graduate or students. Beep Baseball is an adapted sport for the visually impaired and legally blind. All players, with the exception of the catcher, pitcher and spotters are required to wear a blindfold and be guided by modified bases and balls that produce an electronic beeping sound.
